Hey I live in Miami. But I bought by car last Friday in Pensacola. While driving around on the test drive I ran accross another Solstice and flashed my light. I was heart broken to see no response. I was a long time motorcycle rider and I enjoyed the fact that other riders would respond to my salutes. But on ocassion you would get these novice or arogant riders that did not respond. But this should not discourage you from trying to recognize other people who enjoy the same things you do. Let's face it we will always find nut jobs and ingnorant people but in the end there are more nice people.
If you see me in Miami I have a white Solstice with a black top. I will respond to any salute and I ask for your forgiveness if I don't because I was not paying attention becasue I was looking at a nice skirt.
