K&N air filter, Solo Street Race cat back exhaust, Curt Hitch (to haul tires / toolbox to events), Sky Wheels, and Bridgestone RE-01R's. I've done an alignment as well to suit my driving style (~ -1.8 camber, 7+ caster, 1/16" rear toe).

Yeah, that SM2 Miata usually beats me in my local events in raw time. He's lowered, aftermarket shocks, roll bars, and Hoosiers. It's a father / son combo, and the father has been running for many years in that car. Both are good drivers, not trying to discount that at all.
I'm just running street tires - Bridgestone RE-01R's I got from RMR when they had them up for sale. All I did was shave them to 6/32", mount them and run. They have done really well for me this season actually. I'm usually top 10 in PAX, top 5 in raw times... and all others in that group are on R compounds.
