I've got a minor thread hijack, because you've got a good picture of it with your "so sad" pics.
On the forward side of the exhaust ports, there's a rusty nut/plug. I see that turning from chrome to rust on my engine. Any idea what it's for and why it's rusty?
Installation looks good, by the way.
