Since the Penguin run has been always at the end April, we're looking at a weekend kick-off, in the northwoods,
May 1st-3rd. Early enough that we will not have to battle the legions of tourists, yet late enough that the snow should mostly be gone
Moms & I will be on a scouting mission tomorrow, both to look at the roads, as well as to check out potential lodging in the Minocqua area.
