I had a check engine light come on after I installed my high-flow cat and steppen on the gas. Took it to the dealer and he didn't seem concerned. He said the idiot lights were the bane of the auto industry, that unless it was flashing not to worry. Both times the light came on it did clear in a few days. It is always a good ideato check, however, just to make sure.
