Well, thanks to my 2-1/2 day automotive seminar two weeks ago (AKA Dave answering all of my questions while he installed my S/C) and a phone call to Dave this afternoon, my car is back up and running after I blew both my serpentine and power steering belts off this afternoon while doing 0-60 runs outside of town.
I had not checked my belt tension after my last long road trip, and hit the rev limiter on my second run. This combination of factors (both errors mine ) led to the "parting of the ways" of the serpentine belt, which apparently took the power steering belt with it.
It took me longer than it probably should have to reinstall the belts, but it's done. I'm waiting for it to cool back down so I can retension the serpentine belt.
Lessons learned:
1) Check the belt tension periodically.
2) DDMWork's customer service rocks!
3) Our cars are hard to steer without the power assist.
4) The benefits of Stage II S/C are quickly missed when you don't have them.
