I am amazed that the issue of racisms would be raised concerning a commonly used term to define a type of motor exhaust sound.
No posts by me are intended to be offensive.
The focus of this thread is to talk about the sound, good and bad. Also experiences with exhaust systems and sound of inline 4s. And possibly spur interest of vender's or free thinkers to look outside of the engineering box in addressing the sound of the inline 4. The possibility of not just changing tone or volume, but the feasibility of changing the perceived cadence via the exhaust system. Somewhat like what is achieved by accident on the WRX.
I do like the way that our motors make power and its potential power. We are lucky to have a very well designed, advanced engine platform.
I feel that Chris is the one confused, trying to confuse issues.
