I heard from both the dealer and a DPS officer, that if you take a photo of the plate w/ ticky tac holding it on, and present it to the judge in court after your ticket, that it will be dismissed (Texas). I do not plan on installing mine. I am very law abiding, but I think a few tickets are worthy in a brand new slstice
