I absolutely had to unhook the muffler on the drivers side (both hangers). The stock plate wasn't even close to having enough clearance to slide out. I have a 2008 GXP with the stock exhaust.
My torque wrench only goes down to 20 lbs so I just tightened the bolts... Should be fine.
