Do I have the MP3 capable cd unit?
Hi,
I've been trying to figure out what's wrong.
I have a 2008 GXP with the monsoon setup, 6 cd changer and xm radio. I'm trying to figure out how I can play MP3 files on the radio using the CDROM.
I burned a CD with a bunch of MP3 files and placed it in the cd player. I get an error message on the radio. But if I use the same brand cd and create an "audio" cd rom... it works fine.
Is there a special format for the MP3 files? Or something I'm missing?
I'm assuming I HAVE the mp3 capabilities in this stereo...am I wonrg? How can I tell?
