Somehow, despite the lugnuts being torque'd to spec, I managed to shear off two wheel studs during some spirited take-offs. Now, this normally wouldn't be a problem. Pop the busted studs out (done), pop a good one out (done, after removal of hub assembly) to ensure new ones can be put in, go pick up replacements (this appears to be the hard part), put new units in.
Autozone, Pep Boys, Kragen/Shucks, Napa all do not carry a stud that will fit our vehicle apparently. Has anyone gotten OEM replacement studs anywhere but the dealer? I realize at this point (the 4th of July) every place is closed, but I never like being locked into going to a single place to get the parts I need. I realize I could order them online, but I won't have them for the weekend, obviously. I believe the part number is 9596978, someone correct me if I am wrong.
