After gradually reaching my threshold for crap and abuse on the other forum, I have stopped going there at all. It looks like G.M. will stop producing the Impala SS in 2015 so far they have only sold 2166 and in 2017 they will stop producing the Australian Holden which this car is based on . I looked at one when my local dealer had one in his showroom ,had an itch to get a 96 SS a couple of years ago, then I looked at the sticker and talk about shock the car was 46 thousand and change ! I know you can't turn back time but I remember when you could get a high performance car without all the bells and whistles for a decent at the time price ie: 5.0 Mustang LX ,396/427 Bel Air ,Roadrunner, etc. It's a shame the big 3 don't offer packages like this anymore , except the Police Equipment stuff, I really think there is a market for this type of car .
