2007 only or 2008 too?

"It's finally here! After a year of waiting we have perfected our tune for the 2.0 LNF motor! Like always we have preformed months of Dyno runs backed by long term street testing!
Here are a few changes that are found in our Level 1 LNF ECM Tune:

Speed Limiter Removed
Air Fuel Ratio adjusted for better performance.
Timing Calibrated for Premium Grade Fuel. (91+ octane).
Low end torque and fuel economy improved by optimizing timing and boost.
Boost level raised from 16psi to 22.5psi
Retains factory “Competition Mode”
Optimized Air/Fuel Ratio for increased boost levels.
Drastic reduction in turbo lag (almost instantaneous 22.5psi Boost!)
No substantial noise increase over stock tuning

Base HP: 260 / GMR Tuned HP: 310+

Base Torque: 260 / GMR Tuned Torque: 340+

Note: When increasing Boost Pressure you are advised to tighten all charge pipe clamps.

Tune also avilabe for the HHR-SS and the Cobalt SS ..."

More info please!!!

GXP 2007 and 2008?

Where did the tune come from?

Is this a computer swap or reflash via hand held tuner?

Where are the dynographs?

Any customer feedback available?

Are the stock airflow sensors being used, if so how are they performing?

Do you need to purchase upgraded hose clamps?

Timeslips, G Meter 0-60 or 1/4 mile times?

Thank you.

These are Great Questions! Here are some answers:

GXP 2007 and 2008? (yes Both Years)

Where did the tune come from? (Our own in house tuner)

Is this a computer swap or reflash via hand held tuner? (Either ECM Swap / Mail but no not a Hand Held Unit)

Where are the dynographs? (We are working them now, they will be available early next week)

Any customer feedback available? (Coming early next week)

Are the stock airflow sensors being used, if so how are they performing? (Yes, They are capable of reading up to 255kPa and we are operating with in that range)

Do you need to purchase upgraded hose clamps? (No but you will need to tighten the factory ones)

Timeslips, G Meter 0-60 or 1/4 mile times? (Have not gotten out to the track yet, also there are a lot of variables when it comes to track times)

I hope these answer your questions.

One more question, did you guys get your hands on some ECUs available for purchase along with the tune? It sure would be nice to keep the stock tune available for dealer visits.

Thanks Martin, a TON of us will be interested in this. Keep the info comin'!

Yes,

We are able to offer a tuned ECM for $700 (ECM $400 + Tune $300 = $700). This is a nice option for those who wish to swap between stock and performance tunes.

Any chance you could offer it in HPTuner format that can be downloaded from your website? It would be easier for y'all, you could get the same price, and the customer could get the tune sooner.

That is a GREAT price if you can deliver on the advertised performance increase etc..
With this announcement the Solstice\SKY community will start to see some good products at a much better price. (Competition)
What about BTF upgrade turbo wheel for the stock turbo and your tune, that combination would be really GREAT specially from a performace vs $$$.
Thank you
