Well, today Carol and I were both escorted to Lawrence, Kansas by our new "Miss Red Eagle"! Every day that I drive her, I am finding out that she has learned something new about my driving habbits. She is faster, and more responsive then the first drive out of the blocks. Today, she was "AWSOME"!!
I will have to re-learn how to drive her. The power at hand is like waiting to be un-leached. She has become a Rocket Ship. Thanks Martin for the Tune. I am not looking back.

I will be headed over to a mini Meet and Dinner at GO_DRVN, set for July 11th!
He is a member of the Kappa Performance Forum and the BB. I have asked him about my Tune from Martin and GM Roadster. He is going to compare my tune with the factory settings of the GXP. It will be a fun Meet with all the Owners in and around Kansas City. We have not had a Meet recently, and will be good to get together and share our experiences and fellowship. I want to see what the others have done to their Kappa's and renew friendships. It should be a great Meet as always. Will get back to you after receiving input from all the guys and gals here in the Kansas City area.
All I know is, no matter how many want to put me down for getting this Tune, I am having a blast and "Miss Red Eagle" is now ready to rumble. It is now a fun ride for sure! See you all on the road!

Kind of nice to have a Smile that never goes away!
Carol and I went over to a party for dinner at a friends last night and I took Terry for a ride that he will never forget in "Miss Red Eagle". Well, he was flabergasted, and I as well. She has reached a new level in performance and it is becoming impossible to blight her desire for speed. Every time I get in her now I find a new temptation!
I have developed a new smile. It never goes away, and I guess it's like the one that Jack Nicholson was left with as the "Joker" after dropping into that vat of boiling chemicals in the movie "Batman".

No hurry, we know you have been quite busy, but when you get time, please send us the information on the Tune you promised to get to us on "Miss Red Eagle" providing the particulars of the tune and anything that we should know. I believe Carol, my wife mentioned something about a Disc with the old Tune?
Ours, as you know is an early 2007 build, VIN#120075, and we took delivery on December 27th, 2006. We had first ordered the N.A. Solstice but switched to the GXP on Aril 28th, 2006 so our wait to delivery was 12 months!
After the Tune, we added the Race 3/8ths Backbone and ProBeam from Dave at DDMWorks. Thought you might want to know that as it certainly pertains to performance as well, I would say as a definite enhancer. I certainly notice a difference in how she sticks glued to the road better, and other drivability factors have improved that even make her more responsive when driven hard! I am delighted with the tune.
Others have mentioned that I should be aware of "Knock". Well, when I first drove her, I thought maybe I heard some knock, but maybe that was not the case. I could check through HP Tuners I suppose. I don't know. At present I hear no Knock, and maybe there wasn't any to begin with?
We will be having a local Meet here in the Kansas City area on the 11th, next Saturday. And all the guys and gals at the Meet in the Kansas City area will be wanting to drive her. I will ask them if they hear any Knock. I will report back to you ater the Meet. As, I said, I believe it is fine, maybe early on I was listening entently for it, but in retrospect, don't believe it was present. I am so pleased with the Tune, and Carol and I want to thank you for bringing "Miss Red Eagle" up to date!
If you can think of anything else that we should know, or save on a disc or whatever information that you feel would be helpful, please send it along.
Thanks,
Ron and Carol T.
