Those of you who are going to SEMA this year may note that Hotel rooms are getting scarce and over priced at some resorts.
When we (GMR) travel to Las Vegas for the SEMA & CES Shows we try not to stay at the larger Casino properties because after walking 20 miles on the show floor the last thing we want to do is get lost in the casino trying to find our elevator that takes us to our room

...
So we have found a small boutique Hotel called the Artisan that we have used for years, it's just off the strip on Sahara and about 8min from the convention center. They have rooms starting at $69 per night, I must tell you that this hotel is a bit on the "strange" Side

. It's acctually a very cool place and the rooms are awesome! They have secure Valet parking for those of you who are driving in. Plus the more of us that stay in the same hotel the more we can car pool to the convention center, remember parking for the SEMA Show starts at $20 a day so if we can load 4 people in my SUV the better parking looks during the show! There are a few of us that are bringing our Kappa's up and there are usually extra seats there as well.
Here is a link to the Artisans web site, you can book directly through the web site to get the $69 Rate.
