Ok we are looking at September 20th for the Kappa Performance tuning in Southern California. We have not locked in a Dyno Shop yet so if anyone knows of a shop with either a “Dynojet” or a “Dyno Dynamics” type Dyno please let me know.

If you are interested we require a refundable $50 retainer which will be applied to the cost of the ECM tune, please sign up here.

See you all in a few weeks!

Best Regards,

Martin A. Scott

We have found a location and are locking in the details now.....

It's a location in Torrance California, a mid way point between the two clubs.

Nice. Where exactly is the signup on the roadsters site? I see a thing for the vegas one but nothing for SoCal. Also are there going to be new ECMs avalible at the meet or do I have to order it ahead of time.

It's in our Online store under Performance parts and you can order the new ECM in this process.

Thanks,

Martin

We would like everyone who is going to show up to have officially registered by the 17th....We need time to organize ECM's if needed and finalize Dyno Time.

All,

It looks like I'm going to cancel the this Tuning Event due to lack of commitment. I'll keep it up for another day (Until September 6th) but if we don;t make the 10 cars we'll re-schedule For a latter date.

Thanks,

Martin

I'd like to see dyno graphs from other sols/skys that have recieved this tune before i choose to get this tune. I've seen the gains that you were able to gain, but not the gains that others have recieved. I remember you saying that the lowest gain was 24rwhp and the most was like 52 rwhp. THAT scares me and is pushing me away. If you could guarentee the 50+ rwhp then i'd get the tune.

If you're tuning engines, why in the hell would you want to be on a DynoJet?
Most DynoJet models owned by shops are inertia load only and are therefore useless for tuning anything other than wide open throttle, and even then aren't that hot for tuning against the different engine load experienced in every gear.

There may have been a mis-communication We are seeing about a 50 Crank HP and 100Lbs or additional TQ with our tune. This is on a bone stock car and we dyno'ed in the middle of the Arizona Summer so were confident that our numbers are conservative.

Dyno charts are available on the GMR web site.

Thanks,

Martin

Im confussed. Im looking at the Phoenix, AZ dyno sheet right now and i see the baseline of 247 tq, and with the tune it makes a 52lb tq increase, bringing it up to 299tq. So, im confussed when you say i'll gain about 100lbs or more TQ.

This Event is being Canceled due to the low number of cars who would like to participate...We will try again in a few months.

We will be in Las Vegas on the 13th (This Week) if anyone is up to the Drive!

Thank you,

Martin
