The oil cooler and its components are only part of the bigger picture. That oil cooler neither goes to the engine or transmission, but it does contain oil and is required for this application.

There isn't a turbocharger in that image or on the car for that matter.

Perhaps the information I found by going to scdyne's homepage has some import.

Quote:
SCdyne Rotrex Supercharger System
Rotrex Supercharger based systems
100% dyno tuned calibrations (EFILive)
Boost pressures beyond 20 psi
Compressor efficiency equal to that of a Turbo
Self contained oiling and cooling system
Compact packaging of less than 0.6 cu ft
Complete bolt-on solutions
DIY bolt-on starter kits possible

The Rotrex centrifugal supercharger is the next generation of centrifugal supercharger using a planetary friction drive system to produce turbo like performance with a supercharger like throttle response. No games, no gimmicks just a better design for a drive system that has higher drive ratios, lower power consumption and uses turbo compressor components.

Well this is technically a DDM Rotrex Supercharger kit.
It's probably HPT Tuned and making 8 psi in this iteration.

I have been too busy with flight test of the next UAV** that I haven't had time to work on my project so I got with DDM to make it happen.
