Tony,
not knowing if you have dainty or Paul Bunyan size hands What are the physical demensions of the plaque. We were all looking at it at the MD mod meet. I think you have a winner here.

LOL. Normal size hands. The piece measures 6" X 1.5" roughly. It can be made any size, I just picked this to start.
I would be very interested in a GMPP badge for the exterior and I'm sure other GMP Performance upgrade users would be interested as well.
I'm still steaming about that stupid muddy track you had to drive on and the beat up old wreck with no wipers, plus having to go last. You did not have a chance. The producer must have been afraid that Team Solstice was going to win the whole thing and had to knock you out through other means!

Good to know that it can be sized, I will have to see the finished product placed where I want it for reference. I'm sure I can get Dave or Randy to send me a picture as they know where I want to put it.

I would like a GMPP tune badge for exterior and interior. But again, my personal preference would be for something that had an OEM look to it. I bought the GM Performance Parts badge from Crate Engine depot, and had planned to use it. However, if you step back more than 4 feet, it looks like a plain shiny silver rectangle! The etching disappears completely...So I took it off the back of the car.

What does the GMPP Tune badge look like? Anyone have a photo? Or are you guys looking for something that is custom that says something like "GM Performance Tuned Stage II" or something like that?
The GMPP kit does not come with any kind of a badge at all. So, I guess we would need some kind of a custom badge. Yeah, something like what you wrote, "GM Performance Tuned Stage II". Maybe put a horsepower call out in there like the Z06 badge does? Make it blink on and off when you get on the gas? No? Too much? Ok.
To help you with some idea starters, "GM Performance Division" is the logo that comes on the package. Here is the badge I ordered, but decided against using. I *REALLY* like the look of this badge, but as I stated, if you step back more than 4 feet, you cant even see the "GM performance Division". It also does not have anything about the "Stage II" tune. Anyway, here it is:
Here it is in color:
[IMG][/IMG]
Here it is on the side of a GM 18 wheeler:
Anyway, not saying to make it look like that or anything, just trying to show what GMs logo for this is....
Shoot, Tony, your a car guy. What would you want on YOUR car if you had the GM tune?

I'm pretty sure The GMPP Sensors and Tune is NOT called Stage II or Stage anything. Even though that's what Crate Engine Depot has on their site. gmperformance.com shows it as "LNF Turbo Upgrade Kit"
Just FYI before you make a bunch of badges

Stage II is exactly what was printed on my invoice/receipt from the dealer after they installed the kit on my car and I didn't buy the kit from them. Just the install.

Please don't judge the 5 second photoshop job...judge the idea
I'll go first! The LNF kinda blends in with the checkered flag..maybe lighten up the 'flag' part of it so the letter stick out. Also moving them around a bit may help so they don't get 'lost'
Yes it's the same font and color. You are seeing a nice optical illusion there because of the greyish flag.

I do agree with Kenny, I have not seen GM call it "Stage II", but that does seem to be what everyone on the street (and here on the forums, including the Cobalt SS and HHR-SS guys) calls it.
Hey Tony, thats a good point...You should keep in mind that you could also market to those owners as well, not just the Kappas....

We could make one that says: LNFPUK But I doubt anyone would get it
