With the race backbone brace installed, the GXP is so much more solid with a significant reduction is chasis twisting. Cornering performance has significantly improved also. I would definately recommend the backbone brace to any GXP or Redline owner, especially with the GMPP tune.
It works wonders on an NA as well... made one heck of a difference!
As of yesterday there were at least 8 or 9 of the new "extreme" backbones installed in southern MD. I am quite insterested in the impression the new owners have of this unit, especially those who upgraded.
The new design is a piece of art, it is a shame it is hidden under the car.

Better than what my youngest daughter (30) calls mine. She says it is a dirty old man car, something to pick up young girls. So I ask her what is wrong with that? She hasn't said it since, but did tell my wife

Mine is almost 28 and just 'teased' about picking up young guys in it the day I bought it... I was taking it for a spin around the block and when I was leaving, her fiance` was pulling in the driveway. She didn't know he was even there. I offered him a ride in it and when we got back I told her to check it out, it worked!

I got my backbone installed today. The car feels a lot tighter making normal left and right 90degree turns. Also feels better when going over train tracks. There are a couple near me were you have to slow down to a crawl to go over, and the car feels a lot better going over them.
