Yes, it'll fit in the trunk. I had my street version (boxed) in the trunk of my RL for a couple weeks before I had it installed.
Thanks turbolift... good to know. I called them up today to see if they could bring one to the meet for me, and they're going to let me know tomorrow. I'm not sure who I talked to... maybe Dave; I didn't get his name. Anyway I'm looking forward to getting one and looking forward to the meet.

Just ordered the 3/8" thick Race Backbone for my GXP. Looking forward to the improved handling. Shipping will be UPS Ground to Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada. Hope it will not take too long.

I think the boys got the price just "too" right. These things are flying off the shelves faster than bread and milk does when they hint at foul weather.
Rumor has it that these are all going to be pink and tealBackbones.

DDM needs to drop the price of the pro beam to then they would have this same surge of orders.
With what you guys are saving the the backbone, you can pay for the pro beam. I put the back bone on first. Got the pro beam later. IMHO, the two items are like cereal and milk. Both are pretty good alone but much better together.
Let DDM get their profit. They work hard for us and it gives them money for R & D 'ing the next project

Hmm ... it was my thought that due to the decreased price on the Backbone allowed me to purchase the ProBeam as well. As I had said previously, I was going to purchase the Backbone this week at the old price anyway - now I'll be getting both with the money I had budgeted for just one. That on top of supporting one of the top vendors in the area of providing excellent customer service, research into new items for the Kappa community, and two all around great people!
Plus, I will remind everyone that on a vendors sale thread it is against forum policy to make issue over the product or its price. If you wish to discuss the 'overcharging' or any other negative aspect you feel with regard to the product - please start a thread outside of the vendors area. TY!
