Maybe they/we can organize a group buy for the pro beam? They were able to get the backbone price really attractive by running a large batch with their fabricator, perhaps they can do the same with the pro beam?

Dave,

Thanks for the great deal. I pulled the trigger yesterday and purchased both the Backbone and Pro Beam to save shipping charges.

Well, I never got a call back today. I wonder if that means they can't bring one to the SE Regional for me?

FYI

Right before you hit the final confirm estimated shipping and handling is on the right next to the send order button.

EDIT: It also shows it in the total now. Looks like they updated it.

Im in for a race version.

Yeah mine still didn't show it, what was your shipping if I may ask Adam since we are pretty close it would give me an idea of how much shipping I will be charged.

Discounts? Refunds?

If anyone should get those, it should be us R&D guys that buy everything out of the gate and then provide feedback.

If I add up the cost of extra pulleys and brackets Dave sent me (NO CHARGE)

when I was troubleshooting, I am more than satisfied with my cost!

I walked into a Sports card shop in a small west Texas town one afternoon and overheard the following discussion, dare I say "lecture" on economics.

12-year-old customer to proprietor: "What is this card worth?"

Proprietor: "Well, everything has two values. Let me ask you, what would you take for it?"

12-year-old boy: "xx dollars."

Proprietor: "Okay, now let me ask you, what would you _pay_ for it?"

12-year-old boy: "I don't know, maybe yy dollars" (Less than the xx dollars in his first response. )

Proprietor: "Well, there you have it, son. That card is worth what it will sell or be sold for."

Both that young boy and I learned a valuable lesson that afternoon.

All of my DDMWorks stuff was worth _at least_ what I paid for it, because I paid it. It would take more than I paid to get me to give it up.
