I'm most likely going to jump on this. I want the race backbone.
How difficult is it to install this? I have the Solo Street Race exhaust. Can I take out the stock backbone and install the DDM backbone without pulling the exhaust down?

Got it on. Pretty smooth job. Had rubber hangars to figure out for the muffler and pipe...once I learned that you had to twist, not pull, duck soup (no offence, ducky). the twelve bolts backed out OK, some resistance on the last one. old plate came right off, new one right on. I did clean the bolts and applied some silver goop to lub the threads. Could not find the torque specs, so they are handwrench-tight plus a little right now. Headed for some twisties in a minute.

I have no problem with what I have paid for any of their products, I would do it again. It is well worth the cost in the after the sales service. Would I get rid of any of it? Sure for the right price, in fact my one of a kind DDM clearcoated and signed backbone is for sale. I will accept offers starting at a bazillion dollars.

Didn't you know...it's easier to put the Backbone on if the car is on it's roof.
Besides, the instructions were upside-down, so that's how I installed it.
I've really enjoyed testing it out...I WISH I had bought it earlier. It's worth the original price! It's definitely sweet at the discounted price...but to think of all the fun months wasted with a sloppy chassis makes me sad.
I just wish I could see it every day...at least I know it's there...just below my butt.
