Been waiting like forever for my Stage 1. Delays with the blowers?? Maybe its time to find another supplier when the first one cant deliver. Its beautiful weather here for the last two weeks and its a little frustrating to keep waiting with no word.

Unfortunately vendors like DDM don't have control over the suppliers they purchase from. It's easy for us to make statements like "find another supplier..." but if the supplier they originally opted for has the best product for the particular application they are filling the need for, then the delay is worth waiting for. When the manufacturer is back ordered, there is not much anyone can do. Have patients domer. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We apologizes for the delays. Our vendor was supposed to ship the units to us either this past friday or tomorrow. As Shadow said above, we are at the mercy of our suppliers, and there is only one supplier for these blowers. I'll get you an update tomorrow.

domer3001...I've been working with DDM also and they are nothing but quality and attentive to detail...the customer service from Dave, Randy and Ivy is second to none...I too am eagerly awaiting some mods they are doing to my car but I'd rather have given the extra time and have it done with the professionalism and care that DDM exemplifies than some other vendor that promises a quick return that may not be up to par...Patrick

Thanks for responses. I too want quality and DDM is trying hard I know. I am just frustrated at the wait and needed to share my frustration. Thanks again. I will let you know how it goes once I have it installed.

Understood domer -- I'm waiting for my Stage II from DDM. The wait can be tough. I'm going nuts myself.
BTW, Are you doing your own install?

Domer you are spoiled you ordered your car in March and got it in May of 06 so you never learned to wait.
All jokes aside, this kit is built in limited quantities to insure quality control. It is not mass produced.

I was going to do the install with a friend of mine who is somewhat mechanically inclined and has done this kind of stuff before but he got a herniated disk during the wait so now my mechanic is going to put it in for me.

OKAY, now its May 13th and still no word of shipments. I am still hearing a lot of "maybe" and "we hope" but nothing concrete. Here is my concern. After waiting ten plus weeks and counting what happens if I install this thing and have a bad part, or six months from now something happens and I need a part? Will I have to wait 10-12 weeks to get my car running again or will I need to de-install my S/C to get back on the road?? I am not getting the warm and fuzzies which is so surprising to me given all the positive feedback on DDM on this forum. I was also promised updates from Ivy that I never get, unless I chase them I hear nothing... any words of comfort out there???

There are 3 boxes being packed today and tomorrow. Ivy sent an email earlier today in regards to your ECM reprogram, did you not get it? Yours is going out on Thursday. Please feel free to give us a call if you'd like

No I didn't get an email as of 5 PM today when I left work. I just went in to check my email and replied with the Info to Ivy. If you need anything else please let me know. What about availability of replacement parts??? Will you guys carry enough to provide parts if needed or will I have a long wait? Is the delay with my shipment totally unusual?

The only item we typically don't carry in stock is the supercharger unit itself. Normally it's only ship time to us when we request one. However this spring, the manufacturer ran out of stock right when we had a large order of superchargers. It took over 6 weeks to get the first few in. Unfortunately, You and 3 other were the last on the list, and we just got those units in this past week. Dave has been working on assembling the units and get the last few items packed up. We have one unit shipping tomorrow and 2 (including yours) going out on Thursday.
There are not that many "moving" item that would possibly go bad under normal use. Mainly bearings and pullies for the belt system. We keep a bunch of those in stock due to the quantities we buy them in.
please check your spam filter for the email from Ivy. I don't remember exactly what time she sent it...It may have been after 5.

Thanks for the response. Sounds better that its only belts and pulleys that could be a problem. I am sure I will soon be writing how much fun this is and thats what is driving me crazy.
