Hello, my name is Scott or otherwise Black07Solstice.
I have a 2007 Solstice 2.4 Ecotec with an automatic. In January-Febuary time frame I will have around 10,000.00 to put into the motor, transmission, exhaust ect. What can you do for me to provide the most horsepower at the wheels possible? and also could I bring it down and drop it off and you do the work if I decide to go with you on your products. I hear on this site your building a twin supercharged kit? will this be available then? and please walk me through this as I know nothing about cars, I just want a badass SOL that people will marvel over in my town..
You can contact me at shoffer@kennyconstruction.com if you need to talk in private, however I would like to talk through this site inorder to answer questions others may be wondering themselves.
Thanks Scott

Just go to the DDM website , it will be like Christmas !
You might want to consider the ST III they have , it is bad ass. I have a stage II with an automatic and it is like night and day from the original car. It just makes you smile when you drive it. After you pick out your wish list call Dave and line it all up.
DDM supercharged my 07 automatic...SOLO exhaust...is a great combination...you will NOT go wrong with using Dave and Randy at DDM...I was in your same boat...very little car knowledge...now I have learned a lot...I actually shipped my car from Washington state to South Carolina for them to do the work...

What kind of power are you guys that responded to this getting out of their products?
Are you able to smoke the tires, or just bark them a little

Stage 2 you'll be able to do a standing burnout ( well I can with a standard anyway), or leave as much of your tires on the road as you want. Stage 3 you'll smoke your clutch if you give it everything, as well as your tires. If I were you, I'd start at stage 2 - It'll give you another 100HP over your 177 stock.
Start with stage 2 for power options. if you can afored it do a header at the same time. also get the race back bone makes thecar so much tighter

One advantage you have is the auto tranny is rated for 494 ft lb of torque it is out of the Caddy , same with the diff. That is a much higher rating then the std tranny which is a Aisin AR5 rated at 260 ft lb , so you can likely go to the ST III right away without the upgrade required to the std clutch.
Reality is the STII produces plenty of power, from a dead start with an auto I get 25->50 ft of rubber in 1st. It has plenty of torque. There may be no need to go to the STIII.
I would add the DDM backbone and pro beam as well. The back end is much more consistent in handling after those additions.
You will give up some quiet comforts though as the Solo exhaust, high flow cat or headers and Supercharger add a fair bit of noise to the car. I am doing a sound deadener upgrade to mine today to compensate.
You are looking at a car that will run low 13's with these upgrades in the 1/4, that surpasses most all muscle cars out of the 70's. That is as fast a the Vipers made in the 90's and according the Solstice V8 forum faster than those models.
Here is a pic of the STII done on my car, you can choose the colors you want for the coil covers, tubes , valves....

Did you guys install it yourself or did you get your local shop to do the installation.
If so, how much did your installation cost?
Are you happy with the shop that did the job? where exactly are you located TecSolOnt?
Thanks

Both TecSolOnt and I drove down seperate times of course and had Dave & Randy install them. Installation is $750 on top of the Stage 2.
I went with the T-bolt clamps which is extra. Also extra are the coil covers and painted cam cover.
I was the first install in their new shop. Drove down October 23.
15 hours down from Cobourg. Crossing at Buffalo.
So for you it would be another 3 more hours. Tank of gas runs 5 hours.
Believe me it's worth every cent.
