We never said it needed the hood scoop, to clear the engine.That is what the coustmer wanted it would work fine with the stock hood.

We are offering an LS2 conversion package for your Solstice. We switched the rears to Rotora slotted rotors and Hawk HPS brake pads along with stainless lines and Brembo LCF600 Plus fluid.
