Salty's 2.4 turbo = 333whp on pump gas!

A quick update for you - We had Salty's 2.4 turbo car here to do some repairs and upgrades and was able to net 333whp on 93 Octane pump gas and an AEM water injection system! 14psi, tried to go more but ran into valve float issues

I am sure Salty can attest - this thing is a beast now!

I will be posting the dyno plot shortly.

It used to be a torque monster, now on top of that, this 2.4 turbo is now a screamer. With the water meth injection, Dave was able to dial in a bit more timing and get this engine to breathe...
I just had the car for a day or so, but had to leave for the left coast, and can't wait to get back home to play with that toy
More feed back once I get back in town....

The AEM kit is nice, progressive controllers are so much easier to get tuned right on small, high dynamic range motors.
I havent had a single application where water/meth didnt make at least 30more whp thanks to increased boost/timing on pump fuel.

Great numbers!

Will this kit work on the 2.0? What else do you have to buy in order to fill the tank? I am not sure how the kit works.

Yes it is the stage2 I will have to dyno sheet up hopefully by the end of the day it has been real busy around here

As for the tune it is a mild tune nothing to aggressive due to the fact that he daily drives the car

Unfortunately this kit will not work with the 2.0. We are in the "WERKS" of a bigger turbo kit for the GXP/REDLINE. Which i am hoping to be releasing very soon (2-3 weeks)

Spikey If you were asking about the meth kit it will work on the 2.0 All you would need to do is get it tune.

You can us 50/50 washer fluid or the Boost Juice for the meth kit

Fastgxpwas the first person I saw add the meth kit using the bsr tune. The kit raises your octane they say to 112- 115. 2nd, allows you to adjust the timing. Its a night and day difference on the boost. I recommend the boost juice, as I am yet to find a good windshieldwiper fluid brand to use that has the proper mix.
