with the proper tune, how much horsepower can a stock gxp get with water/methane injection?

also, I am told the gxp is actually tuned from the factory for octane even higher then 93, if this is true there should be some kind of gain even without a tune

would you be able to go to stock tune on a gxp with water injection?

I would love to see if there are any gains and I would also wonder if those gains are kept over time

I am not sure what we could get out of a stock GXP with just the addition of water/meth injection but I would love to try! Considering the stock GXP dynos in the 218-230 range I would expect to see gains in the 50-75whp area with the addition of water/meth and boost tuning. If anyone is interested in Chicagoland to give this a shot, come on in, I can work out a great deal for you!

even without the octane boost of water/methane injection a tune gives the gxp that much horsepower

adding advance on top of that existing tune should be out of control

I believe the best way to tell if the gxp will get more power from water/methane would be to try a competant octane boost

I am going to do that, do you have one to suggest?

It would be like adding race gas. You should see results. Though, I do not think it would be a fair comparison with the water/meth injection due to the fact that one of the advantages is a much cooler charge. I use to run race gas all the time with more
boost, but it was a pain in the ass to lug the race gas cans in the trunk.

Any gas stations in your area Perris that sell race gas or 100+octane?

Dave, I want the same stuff salty has!!!!

I think I will be going water/meth by March...I am kind of excited to see results on the dyno or on the track.
