WERKSracing 2.0T 460hp Turbo Kit!!!!!

This is it!!!!! The WERKSracing 2.0T turbo kit has arrived!!!!! Complete with everything you need to bolt it on your GXP or Redline!

$3049.00 with high flow cat
$2999.00 without high flow cat

Place your orders now at the link below -

WERKSracing 460hp 2.0T turbo kit

Orders will begin shipping in 2 weeks on a first come first serve basis

We just finished making 375whp (93 Octane) on our WERKS MAX POWER GXP (dyno sheet coming soon)

The kit comes complete with the following quality components -

WERKSracing "50 Trim" Dual Ball Bearing turbocharger
WERKSracing 2" tubular stainless steel exhaust manifold
WERKSracing 1.5" stainless steel wastegate dump tube
WERKSracing 3" downpipe with or without 3" high flow cat
Top quality lines, gaskets and fittings
Tial 38mm wastegate

You will notice we addressed a few things from our initial 2.4L turbo kit with this kit.

1) Wastegate Location - We re-located the external wastegate to the lower engine area to both give it a more even exhaust charge as well as greater serviceability on the top end. The new location of the wastegate will provide for future wastegate dump options one of which is being dumped back into the exhaust system.

2) Hood clearance - A big complaint of our first 2.4L kit is that the silicone couplers would rub on the hood in some instances wearing away the underliner. That problem is now gone as we have designed this setup to bolt to the factory IC pipe locations allowing the user to run either stock IC pipes or most any aftermarket ones. In addition this kit allows you to use either your stock airbox or any aftermarket cold air intake such as the one we offer. We simply trimmed about 3" off the end and it bolted right on!

Here are a couple pics of the exhaust manifold and wastegate setup -

What else is responsible for 375 whp for WERKS MAX POWER GXP?

Tuning? Fuel Delivery? Intercooler? Charge Pipes? Clutch?

"Complete with everything you need to bolt it on your GXP or Redline!" So if I just spend $3,050 I'll get 375 whp?

Bradyb,

To help answer your questions and to shed a little light on our setup I am listing the following modifications and tuning we have done to our car -

WERKSracing Race front mount intercooler
WERKSracing 3" exhaust system
WERKSracing "50 Trim" turbo kit with high flow cat
WERKSracing 3" cold air intake
AEM Tru-boost boost controller
AEM UEGO wideband gauge
HP Tuners tuning software
Tial BOV

Stock fuel system
Stock Charge pipes
Stock clutch
Timing and fuel delivery is adjusted via HP Tuners software

This kit is designed to be a tuning kit but honestly it is very simple to tune. An experienced Solstice/HP Tuners tuner would be able to get very similar results with the same modifications that we have done.

Our philosophy was to keep it as simple as we could -
Bolt on parts
Boost controller
Pump gas
Good aggressive tuning

I will elaborate a bit more if needed but my time is short as I am on my way out the door to the Bears game tonight.

How much more does this increase the boost by? Can the stock block handle it?

For instance... My car is 100% stock when it comes to performance mods. If I buy THIS kit and nothing else, would my car be just as reliable as the bone stock car would be?

In addition to this tuning kit we will be offering our kit in modular components in case you would like to build your own!

Boost ultimately will be up to you and your tuner. We simply use the AEM Tru-Boost Boost controller and have ours set at 26psi on this 93 Octane tune. The stock block is very strong and we have been running at 22+ psi for over 8 months now on our car with no problems what so ever.

This kit will work just fine on a stock based car properly tuned, but the full potential cannot be reached without at least the modifications that we have listed on our car. This tubo kit supports up to 460whp but I believe the stock fuel system will begin to peter out right at 400whp.

Thanks Dave, I hope you forgive my slight sarcasm.

If it's all bolt on, how about a total package with an install manual. That would make for a very fun weekend. ...Even go so far as to include a gauge cluster, wideband bung already in the down pipe, and a moderate tune.

A complete bolt on 430 horsepower kit would kick a$$. If the customer only needs to pull the trigger once then it's that much more desirable.

I have been running my 2.4 at about 440hp and have 20,000 miles on her and no problems as of yet.

Good to finally see some real HP numbers from the 2.0 folks. Should get real interesting now.

clearbra install: 440 hp at the crank or at the wheel. Anyhow im glad to hear that you are trouble free so far hopefully it stays that way. I imagine the 2.0 with less displacement should hold more boost since it came frome the factory that way.

That is something that I have be toying around with but I am unsure how it would sell as the price of ALL of the components as a package may scare some people away. I am sure we will release something more along the lines of a tuned kit in the future, this is just the first step...

Is this going through the stock I/C. Or does this have one of your I/Cs.
