Why so much lag? A 50 trim should hit peak torque at 4000rpm if not sooner.
And can you rescale the chart so the hp/trq are equal on both sides.

On our dyno we normally see around a 400-700rpm difference in spool up time versus what we see on the street. The run on the dyno chart was at 26psi. I can attest that on the street it spools much faster than what our dyno plot indicates and on our daily driving 21psi setting we are at full boost by 4100rpm.

New Turbo For Rodrunner

Thanks Dave and Greg for all the info and time spent on the phone with me. I have talked to some other vendors about a turbo but you guys really made it sound so simple to install, along with proof of WHP data.. Thanks, Cant wait to get the kit.. >Gary

Makes me wish I had a GXP model now.
Looks like the 2.4L's have some catching up to do.

We can make the 2.4 see the same WHP with the proper supporting mods.

I'm not certain that this answers my question. Perhaps the question should have been "CAN this pass California Smog tests"?

While the kit is not CARB certified it will pass CA smog tests, not a problem there.

congratulations on this new achievement!

incredible whp!

I wonder how much the whole thing will cost an individual? Tuned ECM by werks, turbo kit, and everything else needed.?

how did you guys go about going past 255kpa limit without going to limp mode ?

Would that scary number be over $6K?

As with the other vendors here you can only stay above the 22.5psi mark for 3 seconds. We were able to get this number just as she went to limp mode. We are working on a larger map sensor(s) solution. Even at 22psi we are at 340ish to the wheels and it is an absolute blast on the street! We are also in the process of adding a water/meth injection to the car and we should have some even better numbers for you all soon!

Here is a quick breakdown on the costs involved with a typical WERKS 2.0 Tturbo system -

460hp 2.0T turbo kit with high flow cat = $3050.00
TIAL race BOV = $239.99
AEM tru boost controller = $289.99
Dyno tuning = $500.00
Installation labor - $900.00

Total = $4979.98, not to bad I would say!
