Finally Going Solo!

Ok so I have had my SOL since jan/06 got her with only 5 miles on her, long story short after 3 1/2 yrs my baby is going SOLO! Bought the 2.4 headers and now the high flow cat is on its way! All I need now is the 2.4 MACH W/RESONATOR. Thank you JEFF and THE SOLO CREW.

Another Solo Convert!

Another Solo Convert!!!

I am proud to be one of the first to take the Solo Mach w/res for N/A challenge...enjoy!!!

I still have the stock exhaust manifold and cat though. Would love to hear your finished install!

Jeff (at Solo), does that change the overall sound much? And what about the sound diff. between stock air cleaner and C.A.I. with this system?

Defantly get the bolt in it will just cause you problem. Once the gasket failed because the bolt was gone. Second time the bracket with the bolt completely broke in half and caused problem again.

Nice to meet you at the Cars & Coffee this last Saturday.

Hi Solstice-D. Yes the hanger bracket is very important for the long term. It protects the header, cat and flex pipe from a premature death. There are 2 options...
1) Loosen everything, header, cat, front pipe connection. The nuts can be on but barely finger tight. This allows for movement to get the hanger bracket in place and the bolts started. I can't remember if the bracket goes in front of the flange or behind but I do remember it only fits one way and it's easy to mix it up.
2) A fabricated hanger either by you or a mufflershop is fairly easy to do. Heavy metal strapping that almost every mufflershop has (metal exhaust hanger straps) can be bent and the bolts inserted into the hanger strap holes. This will hold everything in place and you would not have to loosen everything.

Solstice-D call if you need any more info. Thanks and good luck.
