After waht we saw on the dyno last Saturday I emailed Lyndon Wester and he said he is seeing around 10 HP at the rear wheels from the high flow cat on an otherwise stock car. The torque increase is even better. With the Westers tune, Dejon intercooler and Solo Street Race and cat. I am seeing 297 ft/lbs at just under 3000 rpm, that is a lot of torque.

I want to thank Jeff, for the magnificent customer service and Solo for producing an outstanding quality CAT for my N/A. I ordered the CAT on Thursday morning and I had it on my front porch on Monday morning. Keep up the good work!

Now I just have to wait for Old Man Winter to pass so I can get my Sol out of storage to install it.

I know a secret about Jeff from Solo he let it slip the other day, I couldn't believe he told me. I would have been ashamed, he used to work on Fiats.

Wow, .. thats extremely impressive torque numbers for sub 3K RPM on a GXP. That's 297 at the wheels?

Hi Deepblue, we checked and our rear O2 locations were bang on with where GM had theirs.
I drove 4 hours each way twice. Once for an SQR-2 and once for the header and free-flow cat. Don't regret a mile of it .

My father use to have a Fiat 600 with suicide doors.

By the way, doesn't Fiat own Farrari & Maserati?

Solo Hi-Flow CAT & BSR PPC Tune

Let me resurrect this post for one more question, anyone tried the Solo Hi-Flow with the Hahn BSR PPC tune? If so, any codes and what exhaust were you running?

Solo Hi-Flow CAT with Hahn BSR PPC Tune

Ok, since there was a shortage of data on this combination and thanks to GhostRL for the used Solo Hi-Flow CAT and Jeff at Solo I had Robert at Performance Auto in Princeton, TX install the Solo Hi-Flow CAT on my 2007 GXP Auto with BSR tune, stock air intake with K&N filter and custom Magna-Flow exhaust (uses 2.5" pipes) for $105. No relocation of the bung but did use the O2 sensor extension. Went on smoothly and after a couple of hundred miles with only a few full throttle spurts I have thrown no codes. It is a little early to know for sure and Bill Hahn recommended that I take it easy for a while until everything settles in, but so far I can't help but be pleased. The sound is a little deeper at normal speeds a growls just a bit more aggressively when gunned. I can't really say how it's affected acceleration since I haven't fully wrung it out yet, but low end torque is stronger for sure. I'll post again when I have a few more hundred miles on it. After 500 I'm going to really wring it out.
