SLY gone SOLO

SOLO, SOLO, SOLO!

SLY is at ANIMAL HOUSE DEALERS shop near the Air Force Base as I post.

God I hope he don’t get a VETTE pregnant!

All I need is an out of wedlock girl child named SOLETTE

Wife still does not understand, it is a Frat Rat thing.

At ECU, my Alma, I was a TKE and Doug, AKA ANIMAL HOUSE DEALER was a KA. TKE was the campus ANIMAL HOUSE and KA was the only Frat TKE would not fight in the stands at Football games.

It is not good to reunite and put two ECU Frat Rats who went to Skewl together in the same room especially when both are SPEED FREAKS!

Pics are pending of SLY gone SOLO.

Thanks to Jeff and Norm for the design help and all the guys at Doug’s’.

Care to pick a motor for SLY?

Hope to have SOLO audio tommorow.

Big Bubba and I will pick SLY up tommorow and stop by the fiberglass shop that just chopped a race hood for him.

The center outlet has to be chopped. Norm did not have the time for the MOD with his current work load.

Patience Grasshoppers, no tip pictures till we are done with paint

Thanks, me too ladyt.

Did you pick a motor

Big Bubba is welding and should be done by noon. He is going to show me the "back" way to Goldsboro.

On the way back we stop by the shop in Chocowinity he uses for fiberglass fabs

Thanks for posting a picture of the package, DuckSol. I am thinking of ordering a system from Solo then lining up an installer but looking at the size of the package, I think it would be best if I lined up the installer and then had the package shipped directly to the installer instead.

Can you imagine me trying to get that big honkin' box into my Sly - NOT!

I bet you are just a BIT anxious waiting?

I am speechless, you gotta hear audio!!!

Thanks Miner,
I thought somebody might appreciate that and I had never seen pictures of THE BOX posted. The V 8’s lined up give perspective both to the size package and ANIMAL HOUSE DEALERS’ perspective as it relates to CAR.

THEY TOSSED THE BOX because the stock exhaust would not fit back in and they did not want to cut the stock system down to make it fit in THE BOX and thought I would not want THE BOX back.

You will not believe the comments THAT Honker of a BOX created at the two Dealer sites.

Jeff will be glad to ship direct.
The reason the package is so big is SOLO designs in as few joints as possible and you won’t believe the packing the keep the system in place.

I and the dealer guys are sold, sold, sold on SOLO. Everything lines up, bolts up and looks great with no issues.
Mine was CAT, main pipe, muffler and tip, again bulky but light package.

I gotta go, banana time, this is too much to handle right now. I will start on uploads tonight WITHOUT the VALENCE if I can!
Valence is at fiberglass shop for refab to fit. Hang on Norm!!!

That is how good this looks with out the Valence IMHO and the sound is INCREDIBLE!

I feel weak now… more later

Sorry for the delays in posting video. This is a busy time of the year and I did not like the sound quality UNTILL I heard the audio on jolt136's surround sound. Then I turned on my Sound Blasters.

The video quality stinks. My excuse, Jolt's camera

We will get some more video tommorow afternoon I hope and post so you don't have to go off site.

This is after install back in the service lane. Big Bubba is lurking about in his trade mark shorts.

Next is wife driving as we pull out onto US 264/NC92 just before the split and about 4 miles from the Creek. The top down wind may provide some audio perspective.

The final one for tonight is Market Street, Little Washington for some in town sound again top down. Sorry for my thrashing about at the end as I swing to a parking place in front of the MECCA, great eats. Then I swing up to the DeMille Building, with the DeMille home Historic Marker out front, yes the DeMille Family as in Cecil B.
Now for the kicker, a 60 something fellow in a Liquid NA picked up in Chicago in early 06 stops.
Now I feel really good because he sees the quad and SLY's bare bottom and he recognizes & likes the quad look and wants to know about the sound and where I got the system SOLO

The red "thing" is the DDM Pro Beam installed at the shop. Checkout the DDM thread.
My boy is running so rich with the low back pressure of the SOLO system,
I went ahead and ordered a DEJON CAI.
The screen in the GM CAT is smaller than window screen. No wonder the GM CAT is restricted in flow!
There are posts I made on the SOLO threads if you care to read them.
