so here I am, joining the group of "Gone Solo".
Solscuba was kind enough to help me to install Solo Street Racing exhaust and Dejon CAI.
this is a video before the CAI install.
I'm loving it.

Sounds good... but I'm biased, that's what's on my car.

Looks like the tips need to be adjusted... the right side seems out of place when compared to the left side... just FYI.

Also, the sound will die down after a bit.. mine took about 1,500 miles of mainly highway driving for the sound to no longer change. The car ran VERY rich for most of that time as well, and I collected a lot of soot on the rear of my Mean GXP... it showed up real bad, but washed off just fine.

Remember to go back and check your clamps after a bit. Mine were nice and tight after the install, but I developed a little exhaust leak on the drivers side tail pipe section. You could see the soot blowing by on the outside of the pipe. 10 seconds with a socket and I was all set again.

Enjoy!

That is GREAT! I have really started thinking about having these two items added to my Sol Can't wait to see yours installed! So does it make much performance difference?

yeah, first of all, the sound is amazing!! secondly, turbo lag is reduced dramatically.
I have no complaint what so ever.

I removed the video because many of my co-workers told me "You live in MI, don't want to show your license tags around D-town"
