Is there any discount for the Mach Shorty system for forum members?

Hi Koobie. The prices on the web-site are the forum discounted prices. Seems that everyone that buys is a member of either the "forum" or NASSO. It got crazy refunding people and finding out after the purchase that people were members or just joined up... We have taken every step to keep our prices as low as possible. Thanks so much for your interest.

I would like to install a Solo GXP Mach-Shortie system, but I'm really hung up on the stubby tips. I don't want to take a step backward on the looks of the car. I've only seen good photos of tips on the Mach system. Are they the same on the MACH-Shortie? If so, can you put on longer tips (like the stock ones) by changing the 90 degree bend to a 90 with a shallow return, more like a shallow question-mark bend? You would have more room to do this on the Mach-Shortie. (Judging by the comments and questions I've run into, it seems like I'm not the only one bothered by the stubby tips.)

How does the sound of a GXP dual center stacked exhaust compare with the MACH and MACH-Shortie?

Thanks for your help.

Hi RallyRacer. The GXP=RCD and the Mach Shorty sound the same as they both use the 11" muffler. The Mach uses our 14" muffler and it's quieter. We classify the "Mach" system as tasteful quieter kit that has a great quieter performance tone under acceleration but never gets out of hand. The GXP-RCD and the Mach Shorty are a moderate sounding exhaust kit. They are more aggressive, but still do not drone and you can have a normal conversation with your passenger etc.

Long tips can be put onto the Mach or Mach Shorty by request for an extra $30. Since we do this by request only it usually takes 2 weeks or so for us to ship it to you. We have to make it
(it's harder to do with the long tips) and then truck it to our Buffalo NY store. Our truck goes every 2nd Wednesday. Thanks very much for your interest.
