SOLO GXP "RACE" Exhaust Kit

SOLO PERFORMANCE has three exhaust systems for the GXP.

This thread features the "Race" system.

The "Race" kit was developed primarily for racers that wanted a light weight single outlet high performance exhaust. Here are some attributes of our "Race" kit.

1) 3" Polished Stainless Steel mandrel bent exhaust. Exits on the drivers side only with no tip.

2) Front section- Full 3" mandrel stainless pipe with laser cut stainless flange, stainless oxygen sensor bung, 3" double braided flex pipe and additional hanger bracket. This 3" section actually sits ¼" to ½" higher than the stock 2 ½” exhaust.

3) Sound- Nice aggressive rumble with no droan.

Here are some pics and videos. Please excuse the look of the prototype exhaust pipes and welds. They were road tested in the snow, slush and salt. The kit assembly will be manufactured polished one piece unit.

IT'S HERE!!! My SP Race system arrived today and it's BOOOOTYFUL!!!!
All smooth bends, shiny SS just like was promised. It's also HUGE! Reminds me of those Alpine horns in the Riccola commercials! I understand now why the shipping cost, the box is as big as a coffin and musta had 3 cases of peanuts in it. I'm glad it's in two sections, I'd hated to have to manuever it around under the car in one piece. I can't wait until Sat to put it on and hear/feel it in action.

I can't wait to get mine (although we just got 7 inches and snow and a half inch of ice, so the Team Zissou Solstice GXP is going anywhere at the moment).

DUH! I'll do that but I don't have the camera with me today. It won't be going home until tomorrow, so I'll have to bring the camera with me and take some pix to post tomorrow afternoon.
Until then, it really is a first class product. I'm a jeweler and a very fussy craftsman, so that is saying a lot!
