Yes it is and the only reason I didn't buy RPi's. Well, that and there's no mufflers. RPi's has mufflers.

hmmm it didn't sound louder on youtube. How is it in the real world?

I really need a free flowing exhaust for the turbo but want to keep drone and noise to a min

i've put close to 200 miles on the street race exhaust. man, i swear, i have not listened to the radio since i have put it on. it just sounds too good. and i thought people turned their heads alot BEFORE the exhaust...LOL!

it's going to be really hard to keep the roadster locked up in the stable!

I noticed this post a bit later but here is another shot of a street race installed:

I tried to put the muffler clamps on the tops of the pipe to protect them as much as possible. I love my street race system! It is a bit loud at times, but that's why I bought it.

Thanks for all the help with Tekmo's problem. I haven't checked the threads in a few days, just the PM's and e-mails. If anyone has a problem with their install feel free to call. Sometimes a short phone conversation can save hours of frustration. IDKFA our new website should be up and running next week. We'll post a thread to announce it. The new site has much more information ( all the kits with pics, video's and prices. ) It also has all of our non-Solstice Solo product as well. I hope you all like it. We will be interested in your feedback. Many of the Sol pics that we have received are on the site. License plates are blurred. Tekmo we're glad you like the kit. Sorry it took so long to get it on properly. Thanks.

Solo's is a bit louder and more "athletic" or "ballsier" than RPi's to my ears. Hard to describe.

i finally managed talking my girlfriend into helping me adjust the tips so they would match up on both sides. shes only 4'10" so her arm length is just shy of 60 inches. she looked like stretch armstrong while trying to hold both tips as i tightened the clamps! LOL

but now it's looking really good. i moved the clamps up so they don't hang down anymore.

after using this exhaust for almost a week, i must say, it sounds REALLY f'n good!!!!!! nothing like a honda with a fart can! it has it's own unique sound and i love that. still running around with the stereo off...something i thought i would NEVER do as i am a music lover. but this exhaust gives me all the music i need, seriously. and as Jeff told me over the phone, this system has no drone at all when cruising. you can have a conversation no problem. only when you are accelerating do things start to get loud. i find myself driving with the top down A LOT more just to hear that beautiful exhaust note, even in this 100 degree weather. call me crazy but i'm addicted to this exhaust. if i could just get some wheels and springs, i'd be set!

see that's what i like to hear. All of the youtube videos sound sorta ricey and high-pitched (like a typical 4banger exhaust) but others (RPi's, the dual magnaflow, even solo's with the muffler) sound much better. I just have to find someone locally to hear it in person. tekmo, where you located?

i live in dallas.

regarding the RPI, there is a video floating around and the sound quality is real good. i must say, it sounds real close to my solo street race.

did you listen to the clip i posted above with me screechin the tires? you can hear the exhaust note in that clip. sounds pretty good. has a deeper tone in person but it does demonstrate the note quite well i must say.

but all in all, i'm going to have to agree with pretty much everyone else who has installed a solo exhaust...JUST BUY IT! you will not regret it.
