Good thing I have the stock airbox hanging on the wall. We'll need a youtube vid when you get the chance!

How will your BOV set up sound with the partial throttle modulation? I'm not sure how to explain it other then as a drawn out sucking sound that occurs while matching the throttle to a down-shift when causally coming to a stop up a hill. The sound might occur when you’re coming down from a higher RPM and higher boost, but you still need throttle and a bit of boost to go up a hill or accelerate slightly? Right now it’s off and on between vacuum and boost, while trying to keep a smooth transition between the two I get a bit of bucking caused by the factory BOV not giving me any variance between 0 vaccuum and boost.

Would your BOV be adjustable for a smoother transition between 0 vacuum and boost or am I just not used to the super fast spool of a tiny turbo and D.I.

Thanks Bill and Co, this BOV looks great!

Ah yes...the mid-throttle condition where the valve is slightly open due to vacuum and boost conditions existing simultaneously...vacuum downstream of the throttle, boost upstream.

This system will sound pretty much like any other under these conditions. Will the sound be noticeable? I've not found it so. The strong point here is, now we have adjustability that can be used to offset any unintended opening that may be occurring under such conditions.

An update: Due to the reduced diameter of the Fujita intake tube versus stock diameter, it's not a compatible part with our new BOV system.

GMPP looks like a go, however, as does any other intake which is 3" diameter, thus mimicking the stock airbox's size (as well as intended function!).

And of course, the stock airbox is eminently compatible!

Bill,

Do you sell the hoses separately to the valve?

I only need the hoses becuase I have a valve.

Thank you
