Low-Speed Turbo response...better than you've been told!

Here's a demonstration of low-speed boost response on our Stage II 2.4L TurboSystem.

Have a look...I think those of you who've been bombarded by super-propaganda may be surprised!

Special thanks to byronsky for allowing us to do some tuning work on his beautiful '07.

ecoboost, a little off topic, I hope you don't mind;

I've been told there is a cut off and I would like to know if it's true or if it's functional to the point you wouldn't have to worry about air conditioning on excelleration

I would like to know if the air conditioning compressor actually turns off under load or wot on the gxp or the na and if so, how quick it does that

would you care to turn the ac on and have a look the next time you run a dyno?

can do?

I would appreciate it and if so, thanx in advance

AC compressor always disengages at full throttle. It's done to ensure long life of the compressor, and reduce load on the engine when maximum HP is requested.
These days, it's achieved via electronics, but back in the day, WOT switches on carburetors performed this function.

Yes, we are playing! I've a development shop full of willing Kappas, and your ever-vigilant speed servant is all too happy to raise the bar.
