RPM cutoff ???....

I have the stage 3 Hahn, the last ecu flash I had done last year. I know that Hahn had set the cutoff at 6200 if my memory serves. Seems however that the past few times I have gotten on it (WOT) in second and third gears, the cutoff seems to occur at 5200-5500

Has anyone with the Hahn tune had this happen or is this some other issue that is happening ? Maybe too much boost and the system shuts me down as a safety messure

When I 3/4 throttle it and gradually increase RPM, it goes past 5500 and seems to hit the 6200 cutoff as I thought it would.

Any thoughts ?

Ya know that would make sense Randy. I will use my OBDII and see what the rpm is. Good place to start I suppose. Cheers mate !

In addition to what Randy said I would like to add that in the stock tune the cutoff is dependant on coolent temp. I don't think it ever would cut that low though, but maybe Hahn adjusted that table. Was your engine up to temperature?

The other possibility is that you are hitting a fuel cut based on airflow.

Hi Mallard,

Yes my engine was at OP temp. The thought about the fuel cut based on airflow is something that I was thinking of as well.
