For cars that get driven hard on track days, or see extensive canyon carving, power steering (P/S) overheating can be a concern. Overheated P/S fluid can create significant strain on the P/S pump and steering rack, and can ultimately lead to failure of these expensive components. Protect them with this easy-to-install kit! This kit will relocate your P/S fluid reservoir away from the hot exhaust manfold region to a much cooler location by the battery.

  • Prevents the fluid reservoir from absorbing heat
  • Adds additional P/S fluid capacity for even more protection
  • Great for turbo or supercharged cars that create more heat
  • Affords additional clearance for larger turbochargers
  • Contains all needed hardware, hoses, fittings
  • Detailed installation instructions
  • Fits all years and models of Solstice and Sky, including GXP and RedLine
H PS-1000 Power Steering Upgrade $89.95

Well, heh, there's no more to show!

It's a simple system. I'd estimate one hour, difficulty minor.

Way to go, great idea Bill. This should make a great improvement (more room) for BIGGER TURBO'S and everything else you mentioned. Cooler oil is always a good idea. I would order one but I seen I allready have it.

Hahn's website is about worthless. I'd order one, but I cant figure out how, and in 2008 I shouldn't have to place a phone call.

Never fear, folks! A new website is in the works, and on its way soon. You'll like it!

No, this product is not on the site yet...I decided to introduce it here first. Of course, it's a relatively simple product, so what you ultimately will see on the site will simply will be a repeat of what's shown here.

As for placing orders in the current regime, we can definitely provide phone-free ordering. You may contact me via PM here, or use the email address shown at the website:

sales@turbosystem.com

Thanks for the interest!

Not to be a pain in the arsh, but what is involved in the kit? Pictures of parts, pictures of the whole thing reinstalled?

Thank you

That is the whole thing. It moves the reservoir from next to the turbo/manifold to behind the battery.

Due to this replacement, you will need longer hose (provided).

Black bracket (looks to be a replica of the current with a bolt and hook sort of setup) probably bolts to the fusebox bracket.

Will this relocation make my car illegal for stock classes of road racing or autocrossing?

Have there been any heat issues so far with the SCCA road racing cars or the Setup cars?
