Stage II..on Steroids!

Here's a look at Stage II on a 2007 Sky. Only other performance mods to the car are a Magnaflow 2.5" exhaust system, and a custom downpipe with no catalytic converter.

Of course, its off-road use only for such a setup, but the capability is there for some significant power, even with a high-flow cat. This was recorded at 10 PSI boost with 93 octane fuel.

Check out the torque curve that's just a mile wide! And right where torque begins to reduce, the HP curve is rising nicely, taking her screaming to redline. The area under the curve on this graph can only be describled as massive.

As for the torque rising, then leveling off at about 3400 RPM, that's the typical way a turbo car responds to the dyno. For some more information as to what's happening below 3400 rpm, check this thread's videos and you'll see that usable boosted torque, when requested, is actually available at as little as 2500 RPM with our turbosystem:

Low-Speed Turbo Response

Should any of our existing Stage II customers be interested in a similar setup, please PM me.

So Bill, can the Stage 3 owners expect some sort of upgraded tune/hardware combo that will push us along a little quicker as well ? If so, when might we expect this and at what cost ?

Was this Stage 2 improvement accomplished by a better tune only ?

Thanks

It is indeed possible. We are examining a number of fronts right now in the quest to offer more and better options to all.

This Stage II enhancement was the result of a cat removal and different tune to accomodate said cat removal. It was very effective!

I Like This Development

Bill,

I know I have been all over the map with my next plans.

But I sure do like this new Stage II development because I want to stick with the 16G.

Sometime, it is best to wait than jump. We always prefer customers who make carefully considered decisions, as they are naturally the happiest over the long haul. Not to mention, as I like to say..."The longer you look, the better we look!"

Call or PM me anytime to discuss

Would this work with OBD2 emmissions inspection, at least the electronic part of it? I assume you simply disable the Rear O2 sensor and associated CEL's. I realize in this case the phrase "off road use only" applies, but humor me.

Also, pardon my ignorance; I never had a reason to remove the cat before, but this is nominally a 25hp gain over the standard stage II kit, if I'm not mistaken. Thats a damn good reason especially when the car is driven less than 5k miles a year (which, incidentally, exempts emmissions testing in the state of PA...for now).

Consider yourself humored

Yes, we are able to prevent CEL issues via adapted diagnostics.

For those that have a desire to keep their cars all original looking. What can we expect, availability, performance, and cost wise with stock exhaust, gutted cat and BTF big wheel upgrade?
