Abel,

How well are these pads suited for the daily drivers that track and/or autoX their cars from time to time? Should these be considered "track only" pads?

We dont recommend them for daily driving. If your going to install them and drive your car to the course or track than you will be fine. However you should pop them out once your done with your track/autox day. They require a significant amount of heat for proper function. Its hard to achieve that heat with daily driving.

Thanks for your honest answer. I appreciate your candor. Would you recommend going one step further and getting seperate rotors to go with these pads?

In other words, would one have to worry about bedding in and pad glazing issues if they were to swap pads back and forth for track days?

You can use your same rotors as long as they are not badly worn or damaged. As for glazing, it doesnt require much to remove the glaze from the on pad to the next. Hawk brake pads come with bedding instructions on the box and following this when swaping pads can help eliminate the glaze of the previous pad.
