If mine ever gets here hint hint I will give you an impression. I am sure it will go on easily with the Solo Street Race, had the car in the air last weekend looks like a piece of cake. New wheels and tires go on same time.
if you want to know if the bar is adding stiffness to the frame you have to put that on before you change the tires and wheels
I see your point but they are all going on together, I can report on the total effect, the wheels and tires cost a heck of a lot more than the reBar. Jack the car up once put it on stands everything goes on, back down front goes up, wheels go on done. Go drive around. I even ordered light weight locking lug nuts for my new pretty wheels.

@Goat,
You can wait until you drive with the new wheels before adding the ReBar. Unless you have a lowrider now , you can install it while still on the ground.
It's not the car height that's the problem, it's that I am a large fellow, getting my big butt under there. I have to jack the car up anyway, just going to do it all at once. The wheels are same size and offset as stock, tires are same size as well and the point is to see how they all work together, I will let someone else do the review of the reBar alone.

I was really looking forward to this mod, unfortunately it will NOT work with the Solo Street Race exhaust not even close. I will have to send it back.

It did not work with the standard Mallett conversion, but since exhaust tubes can be bent. A simple reroute of the exhaust solved all the problems and now I've got a better way to protect the car from the 505 hp.
Thanks again for all the feedback we have gotten on this product. While we have done a lot of product development for both Kappa cars and much more with our Lotus company, Sector111, we still learn new things with each new product. Typically we have no issues with other aftermarket parts interfering with ours. The nature of exhaust systems is that they can differ so much from one to the next that it is hard to design a bar that comes so close to the exhaust without having some aftermarket exhausts running into that path. Also the same exhaust system can hang lower or higher depending on how it was installed. The reBAR is designed for function and rigidity therefore making it non-compatible with some exhausts in order to create new box shape in the rear subframe. If you have one of these exhausts, we are working on other applications that will better suite your car. Our companies (Kappasphere and Sector111) have proudly introduced products for suspension, braking, aerodynamics, wheels, saving weight, forced induction, safety and more. Feedback from you all is great information to help us introduce better and better products.
I would say in AX, that would kick you out of Stock and into Street Prepared. Likely ok in SM. But just remember that if the rulebook says you can add something (or it is "free") you can-- otherwise, you can't and you get bumped up to a class that does allow it.
The reBAR is "legal" for autocross or track use. All classes have guidelines for what kind of modifications you are allowed before you are bumped into the next class. So to answer your question, it depends on the guidelines for the class you want to compete in. I would consult the 2008 SCCA handbook to see how this bar affects your classing. The bar should be concidered similar to a lower-tie bar.
I have to compliment Kappasphere, unfortunately the reBar did not work with my exhaust. They were very gracious on accepting it back, and even paid the return shipping. Now please go make one that will work with my exhaust. It is a very nice piece and well made.
