Backup Lights - any options?

I've tried a few variations on the existing lights.........but I keep coming back to this image.
BETTER or WORSE?
Has anyone come up with a nice aftermarket part for the backup/reflector lights yet?

I never had an issue with the current backup lights, as is... but I really don't care for that, anyhow.

I think the stock backup lights look cheap. But, I don't care for what you showed. Keep looking.

I don't like the OEM pieces or your first suggestion. Keep working on it and get back to us.
As for the OEM bits, I don't follow my car nor do I see and follow any other Sol so it really doesn't matter to me.

Geez look, no rear plates in NC.

Really, no one is gonna steal your identity by showing your plate.

I would like to see someone bring them out flush and have a lense that follows the wrap of the body. They are nothing but little dust pockets on my Pure.

I have considered just replacing them with round driving lights so the entire thing would be clear/white.

Bzzzzz. Wrong answer.
Do you want to risk that some DPS dude is on his/her game and knows that you are driving around without the required reflective surface on your car? That red crap needs to be somewhere on the tail of the car. Remove it from the back up light but add it somewhere else.

hey bradsol

I also noticed that the back-up lights look , well, just a little chincy......

I was pondering an idea like this
[IMG][/IMG]

I was going to do the design in either a black or "sly" solor.....you know as a decal that fits onto the lens.....just to spruce it up!

My vote still pending on it.....maybe one day i'll try it!

[IMG][/IMG]

I modified your pic in trying to show you........but all i have is windows paint
so it's not the best.....unless you likr picasso's work

Let me know what you think about it
