Not only are they watching for reactions, they also look carefully for information sources, leaks, whatever. If there's lots of information being posted that can only come from inside, they start to get really ticked. That's prolly why you've seen things like posts from Wilmington workers (as an example) disappear... prudent thing to do from their standpoint, as posting confidential GM information is a dismissable offense.

Well, hopefully they were aware of the inside joke, or S-Man may have been inline for a visit from the GM thugs, errrr, security

If u worked for somewhere like that and knew that you would get in trouble for releasing information like that than why would u? Well didnt really expect to start a discussin on it, just wanted to know if what i heard was true.

Some people just don't know that they can get in trouble for giving out certain information. We've had a couple cases where people who worked for GM have posted here, but then found out they weren't supposed to.

HA HA, good luck getting rid of a Union worker
They have to kill someone before they can fire them.
Come on people give it up let us know whats going on. What can they do to ya?

I have seen more people fall away from the Solstice because of the issues we all dont like. Why is it that GM does not address them?
It would be better for GM to "leak out" info than to let rumors and speculation scare away people.
It might just be a few that you see here but they spred the word about how "crappy the top is" AND WE DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE?
or "The trunk is soooo SMALL you cant use it for anything"
or MY favorite "It will NEVER get a V6?" ..... (sorry I had to)
And the one thing that sticks in my mind is that VERY VERY VERY few people even know what a Solsice is? And all this speculation is already out there scaring people away

Just wait till the supposed April 14th Solstice episode of The Apprentice. It'll get a ton of publicity, and we might even get to see some infomartion we haven't seen before too.

It was interesting to see how they squashed the bogus rumer that the trunk couldn't be opened when the top was up. Added to the Page Ranking department's prepared spiel at this years auto shows was a mention of how easy the top was fold into the top storage area (what we used to call the trunk). But not mentioned was that you have an extra step to raising the top(AFBTE). Also, to lessen expectations, the resent mention that the top down trunk space may be a little less than 2 cu ft.
