Here in Michigan, we are celebrating the Summer Solstice with a rare morning thunderstorm

Hopefully it will blow through this morning and I'll be able to take my baby for a top-down drive this afternoon.

Same here in Illinois, today is my off day and I was going to make a quick trip up to Kenosha WI. to pick up some brats (SAUSAGES NOT BAD LIL KIDS) for the 4th of July celebration. If I go I'll take my truck I can bring more back anyway even some Wisconsin beer, nothing like a Dodge Dakota pickup for a beer run.

I'm celebrating tonight with some Berghoff Solstice Wit Beer. It is a nice wheat beer with some citrus overtones, brewed by Berghoff (Huber Brewing) in Monroe Wisconsin. It would be great to have a run to the brewery next June to celebrate!
