So you want a V8 swap but your significant other isn't on side with spending all that money? (They can be so unreasonable sometimes!)
Here's a way to get what you want at a price he or she should be able to live with. And the better your sound system in the car, the better it works, so you have an excuse to get that new sub-woofer and amp, too.
It senses RPM from alternator output and synthesizes engine sounds through the radio - comes in V8 or V10 versions.
If you have a loud enough stereo, they'll never know the difference down at the drive-in!
Mods:
GMPP CAI
Opel GT antenna
Lil Chromies
Painted engine cover (Deep) blue
MBRP rear facia insert
Solstice cooler and travel bags for the trunk
GMPP turbo upgrade
Solo Street race
Fuel pump cover upgrade
Windrestrictor
DDM Backbone and Pro-Beam
ASAP backup light covers
Future Mods:
ASAP fog light covers
ASAP Badge color change kit
Now you have a link to post every time someone says they want an exhaust system for their 4 banger to make it sound like a V8. And it's cheaper than all the systems out there and NO DRONE!!!! WIN WIN!!

So the sound is heard only INSIDE the car, unless you have some of those speakers on the outside, no one else will here it? I guess you could drive around with your windows down. Or hook up some weather resistant/water proof speakers to the out side of your car. You could always hide them underneath some place.
any chance then can build one to sound like a saturn sky redline
Yeah, so I could use it to make my V8 sports cars sound like an LNF with a hole in the muffler......perhaps not.
BTW, I found the V12 version of this to be really unconvincing. The V8 one, especially in the clip, seemed pretty darned good. Just the thing for a Civic with a megaphone tip, but otherwise stock, quiet exhaust, and a good stereo so you could run with the windows down.
