click sound

It happened twice to me in the last week. I heard a LOUD click sound when I was backing out of my garage. the click happened after I had the gear in R (I have manual) and just after the car started moving. Has anybody had the same issue?

Black, 2 tones, 3500 miles, loaded

Was it sitting for a while each time? Sometimes the emergency brake doesn't really release until you start moving.

wasn't the auto door locks was it? they will activate in either forward or reverse if you go over 5 mph....

I have mentioned it before when I first got the car and didn't get anyone else with the same problem.
Each and every time that I start up from a dead stop, regardless of going forward or backward, I get the click.
If I didn't know better I would swear that it sounds like the rear brakes sticking. But every time?
Pull up to a stop sign and go again-click. Back out in to the street and when pulling forward-click.
The thing is that at my work there is G35 that makes the same sounds when backing up from a dead stop.

When I first got my car and the BCM was messed up, I could hear a loud click. It was under the floor in the footwell on the passenger side. Is that where your clicks are coming from?

was the car wet when you put it away...... a light coat of rust will develop on the disc brake rotors....could be the brake pads breaking away from the light coat of rust on the rotors!!!!!

I agree with that AND I have heard wierd noises as soon as the tires start to roll in the garage. It seems they stick and then make a sound breaking loose.

fred
(But I do need to get the POP fixed)
