Dealer Installed - Stealth Car Alarm

Hey guys,

Just curious if anyone else had the "Stealth" car protection system installed in their car? The dealer offered it as an option and I decided to get it. It was $695 but seemed worth it to me.

It's not really an alarm as it doesn't have a speaker of any sort. But... what it does is, there is an additional key fob you must install on your keychain. There are two buttons. Enable and Disable. Without hitting the Disable button, you cannot start your car. I know this is like a glorified Theftlok-3 computer, but it seemed like just one extra step.

Anyone else get this or know about it? Or was it something that just my dealership offered?

I just added LoJack to our solstice..since we live in one of the major metro areas where the local police can activate the system
