If your like me, you have to wonder about how wide spread some of the tech. issues that are seen in the tech. forum and this forum are. As many of you have pointed out: It's hard to get a real sense of how wide spread any given problem is, as they seem to draw a lot of comments. Also not many people comment if they have had no problems with their car. The intent here is to try to sort out the number of owners that have had problems as well as try to determine if these problems have diminished with production time.(as a funtion of improvement) I will list as many of the "issues" as I can, some of them will be more focused and some will be more general. Please place your car build date in your reply as well as mileage. If you have had a problem not indicated in the poll you can also add it in your reply. Thanks.

Owners Only Please

Build date-11-6. 500 miles. No problems at all. Fit and finish are as good as I've ever seen on any car at any price.

I just want to say as far as fit and finish, I find it to be great. As far as mechanical I only have 500miles on the car, so it maybe to early to tell. The weather and time on hand has not been very cooperative, so I have very little drive time.

The same here for me on all your points. I have 2200 miles and only 2 months use on my car because it is now in storage. We will see what next spring brings.

I thought about adding "the clunk", but will take the Generals word that it is not an issue. There are bound to be other things that can be said here...Feel free. By the way question #9 should be "driveline" not drive in.

I drive my Sly everyday to work. It is proving to be a very good daily driver. 2300 miles and I'm averaging 26.9 mpg, both city and interstate. Very little wind noise, no clunk, no leaks. I love it!

I had the body around the passenger headlamp area adjusted because of a large gap (compared to the driver's side). A small piece of weatherstripping by door fell off. Both items were dealt with the dealer. No other problems. I have had other new cars with more problems than this!

9100+ miles and nothing of major importance. A couple of loose interior trim pieces and a single incident of an electrical shut down (still being watched). Really no problems, especially for a first year car that was brought out in such a short period of time. I'm VERRRRRRY pleased!

There is some wind noise from the rear of the passenger window but that's way over on the other side of the car!

I fall into none of those categories, but I have had my top replaced and waiting for another replacement top to come in and recently my front right headlight works intermittinly (sp?), the bulb was repaced but that did not fix.

Other than those two issues we love the car.

By the way the dealership doing the work has been fantastic - thanks dealernut

I guess everyone missed my thread on this ...

Convertible Top - Seam came Loose

Anyway - the parts supplier for the Top (I assume Haartz sp?) sent the first top without the proper staple/seams sewn above the window and now they have to replace the replacement
